Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Aashini Nuria was found by the human Ember on a cliff during a fierce storm. Although Aashini could send out powerful charges of electricity, she was a timid creature, and spent most of her time either quietly following Ember, or sitting on a high rock overlooking the lake of Elgar. One day, she spotted her little hatchling sibling, a wingless Magi dragon, clinging to a rock protruding from the side of a cliff and gazing fearfully down at the long drop below. Suddenly, the shy electric dragon sprang into action, forgetting her timid nature. Although she herself was only a winged hatchling, Aashini managed to carry her sibling to the top of the cliff. The Magi however, was too scared to move, so Aashini proceeded to carry it to Ember's house. When she got there, Aashini was hailed as a hero, but in her usual humble nature, she thanked them quietly and scurried off to her rock. Aashini still lives on the highest mountain of Elgar, and she is well-known as the guardian of small dragons.
