Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Throughout the spring and summer, robUT travels into the barren woodlands between Nworset and the coast to fish for salmon. In the autumn and winter when nothing is running, he makes costumes for masquerades and performances at the Nworset Theatre. He is famous for the year he dressed as an automaton for the Halloween masque and afterwards found that he was incapable of removing hind-legs and tail of his costume (admittedly, Magpiescale may have "helped" with that). He spent several months before he managed to get it removed, and if he weren't so concerned about the misfit striking again he would make himself another version. robUT is still known to some as "the one with the mechanical rear" and revels in the silly nickname.
