Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Being the youngest and most temperamental of the Four Eldest, her nature is anything but protective (For kids, that means "She is very protective"). Her sharp eye for the glint of treasures paired with her slightly older brother's hoarding habits means they have gathered quite a treasury of gemstones and alloys. Her aggressive nature and her combatant behavior are unparalleled by the younger generations of the scroll, never letting them forget her position. Although she doesn't visit Scourge's grave often, she takes out her mourning through rage outbursts when a hatchling falls out of line. To elaborate on how she's been handling the death of Scourge, she's been more reserved since she was announced dead and slightly more snappy towards Saan and Dominus. She spends much more time in her cave, refusing to come out and socialize with the other dragons. Despite this, she carries on to fulfill her duties within the clan as one of the Eldest, however painful that may be without Scourge there.
