Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Zurria is a curious and inquisitive dragon and her access to scientific materials has led to many a disaster. She prefers to do her scientific experiments without any idea of what will happen, she says it's more interesting that way. Zurria's tinkering in genetics has probably doomed her future children with some funky genes, since she insists that using forced participants in experiments is wrong and just tests everything on herself. If you look closely at Zurria, you will notice she is sparsely covered in fine hairs, the result of several years hard work on pigment and cell regeneration research. The hairs are quite dark and since dragons are not supposed to have hair Zurria feels very insecure about herself, though she will never admit to it. Priding herself on being smart, secure, and brash, Zurria believes herself to be above insecurity and self-consciousness. But like every other dragon, she has moments where all she needs is someone to say that she is beautiful and special.
