White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Though a born healer, Dying Starsong comes from a line of magic gone wrong. His White dragon ancestors held territories near those of the mysterious and deadly Marrows. During a brief time of peace between the dragon clans, his ancestors had mated with the fierce Marrows. Upon seeing the birth of White dragon offspring, the Marrows retaliated and slayed their mates. The male and female White hatchlings, drawn together by this tragedy, began to practice dark healing spells in a desperate attempt to revive their slain mothers. Sadly, though the magic did reanimate their bodies, the mothers were nothing like their original form. The White hatchlings fled for their lives as the enraged Zombies attacked, all memory erased of their life before. The hatchlings matured, and became lifemates. When old enough, they told their son about the tragedy. He became obsessed and travelled to his parents' natal range. There, he met a Hellfire Wyvern called Zombie Fire...
