Jira is one of Dragon-Wolf rider's first eggs to hatch and grow up. Dragon-Wolf rider is actually Ember Blazefire though she prefers to hide her identity this way. Jira is often seen in the forum paired with Ember, her human friend and family. Ember is the one who found Jira's egg abandoned in the forest. Jira is protective of anyone she considers a friend and can be hostile to anyone who she sees as a threat. She loves to fly and when she needs to be near the ground, she often hovers. Jira's name is like Jura only with an "i" to make it female. Jura has no known meaning. It is just an ancient name.
