Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sapphire is like all other Blunas, and likes the company of other dragons. She is a bit upset that she doesn't get to swim as much in the cave as she would in the wild, but the company of the other dragons make up for it. The deep lake in the corner of the cave provides a good swimming pool for Sapphire to enjoy when she gets a desire to swim. Sapphire has recently found the friendship of a Cheese dragon, Light, and enjoys its company. Light has even been so kind as to volunteer to let her taste a bit of its cheese. Sapphire thinks Light is the best cheese she has ever tasted, but as Light is her friend, she refuses to ask it for more samples and protects it from others who would seek to eat it.
