Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows brightly, and seems to prefer warm areas.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Locked in endless slumber, this little Ember dragon has been trapped in dreams for a long, long time.  Although it's mind is full of thoughts, it's physical body has learned to walk, drink, and eat without the mind's consciousness.  The dreams it has are varied, and only somewhat controlled, so nightmares can strike without warning, then fade into a pleasant dream.  Only one dragon has seen this hatchling awake, but refuses to be acknowledged.
