Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Let it never be said that Stareyes will not get a job done. Literal-minded and serious, he takes his duties, whatever they may be, very seriously, and when he decided to fight with Flameflow when the time came, he did so with grim determination, mowing down the traitors who'd driven out Nightburner with grim patience. And when Flameflow ordered him to protect Starfriend, the timid, beautiful Black dragon, he did so, even though it was below his abilities. Still, she was skittish and chatty and apparently fell in love with him. This was disconcerting for Stareyes, who'd certainly never thought of himself as one for a domestic life of mates or hatchlings. Still, he spent more time with her, listening to her chatter and her not-so-subtle hints that she wanted to be with him even after the War was over. Oddly enough, by the War's end, he found himself wanting that, too.

He's a quiet, dull dragon, but he makes for a good mate and father, and he's even happy being those things. Imagine that.
