Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gelatin is a rather moody dragon for the most part, but only because his history seems to benefit his attitude. The clan had heard rumors about the Bluna dragon, and how its breeding could only be accomplished through a Skywing and Deepsea relationship. And the clan dragons wanted to test this for themselves. So, the clan discussed the idea with Sonre, who of course thought it was a terrible idea. But after long lengths of arguing and debating, the rest of the clan won the battle. So Krever and Changing Tide were allowed to breed, and after that they instantly parted ways, not wanting to be reminded of the horrible deeds they had done just for experiment.

And so Gelatin was born. Cast out by his true parents upon birth, he now wanders in his own anti-social world, refusing to talk to anyone and often picking fights with the other dragons, whether they actually want him to or not. But after all, if your birth was an experiment, you'd be unhappy too.
