Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys swimming in a nearby pond.

And look! Its fins and tail have gotten bigger, and you’ve moved it to a larger body of water to swim in. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Kaigun is very good friends with Illius of the Skiesroam Clan. Their friendship stemmed from their stomachs, as Illius enjoyed the taste of ducks but could not swim after them, and Kaigun hungered after the sheep that lived near the cave. One day, as Illius attempted his first duck hunt, he fell into the water, but was saved by Kaigun, who offered to hunt ducks if Illius would hunt sheep for her. Aside from sheep, Kaigun also wants to explore the ocean one day, and constantly explores her lake when her parents aren't looking, in an attempt to find a way out.
