Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pip's egg was laid with love and taken to Draak's Hatchery to be tended to and raised. Shortly after this her parents were killed by villagers and she was taken in by the owner of the hatchery to live. Pip and the owner formed a unique bond and Pip has been known to threaten all who come close. She is a fierce protector of the hatchery and her own eggs. Pip's unique appearance attracted many mates, but she choose a stunning silver male named Luja. Pip is gentle with him and the workers, but dangerous to all others. She will fight when needed and has has always return victorious. Although she is a very capable hunter, she prefers to stay close and let Luja bring her food.
