Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Like the egg it hatched from, it is a very shiny gold.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Golden Saurian is very affectionate towards all of the dragons, but seems to fear its tamer for some reason. Its tamer has never struck it or attempted to harm it, but it still flees when it sees her. The older Gold dragons help to take care of the hatchling, and little by little, try to get it accustomed to the woman who first took it in. Not much progress has been made, but both the dragons and their tamer are hopeful.
