Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Sled-pulling... No real dragon would trudge along dragging a cart when they can twirl and tap like The Dancer does. A bit slow of both hearing and mind, he is no mental virtuoso (although not so unfortunate as C'var). In the clearings outside Kad's clan cave, however, none of the clan his size can catch up with him. He fulfills his name well; an avid and adaptable dancer, he needs no music or choreography to begin dipping his paws in original patterns. Watching him express himself is a delight—if you can find him after his favorite holidays are over.
