Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Contrary to what most people would think, Night Glowery is one of the plainer Nebula Dragons. Her wings reflect one of the younger stratums of space. Only a few stars and colors exist in her troposphere, and her wings mainly consist of a pewter black, some blues, and bronze. Perhaps it is because of age that what she does display is often brighter. While this does not appear to be impressive to most other Nebula Dragons, as they see this as a sign of immaturity, it often piques the interest of scientists. Night Glowery does not speak to those who approach her with questions, leaving many to wonder what exact nebula Night Glowery is reflecting.

Night Glowery seems content to exist in solitude. There are those she meets with at leisure but the occurrence of such is more rare. Her days are mostly spent observing the creatures in her nebula and expanding her knowledge. The lack of a mate, naturally, does not concern her either. When her wisdom exceeds her wings, she will begin her search.
