When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Gauge was not always the dragon you see today. Just like any other dragon he started with an egg, being taken care of. But at the age of finally reaching and ready to hatch from his egg he was carelessly abandoned to fend for himself. Alone as a hatchling isn't an easy feat. Thankfully he was adopted in his medium days of being a hatchling and soon sprouted a bigger tail. He never gained wings like the other dragons. He was always different and that was clear to him. After all, he lived in the water. Most of the other dragons he knew or met all seemed to be in the sky or live on land. But him, he stayed to the water. And in reality he liked the water just fine. Gauge was named so to represent the sea and water in a sense. Because really, water has no true measurement.
