Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

No one is sure if Mithryll is cursed or just very unfortunate, but he can never seem to remember anything, not even his own name. Anything someone tells him he forgets almost immediately afterwards despite being told over and over. He has taken to writing "Dear Mithryll" letters to himself in hopes that reading what happened would trigger his memory, but he has a bad habit of setting the stacks of parchment down and forgetting where. He writes notes to himself so he'll remember, but he loses them as well. Needless to say, there's a bit of a paper shortage in Hawktalon's cave.
