Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Immortal Sheen is one of the Immortal lair's many beauties. She is kind and gentle by nature, and rarely has trouble getting along with others. When the other dragons compliment the beautiful shine of her scales, Sheen will always return the compliment. She feels that every dragon is beautiful, and deserves to feel comfortable in their skin. <br/>Unfortunately, she has been caught up in the rivalry between Gold and Blaze. Gold, who is her adopted elder brother, has declared that a beautiful Gold Dragon such as she should not mingle with a low, brutish dragon like Blaze. Of course it is common knowledge throughout the lair that Sheen and Blaze are inseparable. Sheen's true desire is to live out her long life with Blaze and watch her children grow.
