Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

WingsOfGoldenFire is a brave Red Dragon. He is proud but not overbearing and strong without being unapproachable. He is good friends with every member of his cave's military. He is the First Claw, or commander of the First Wing of the military of his cave, a proud honor. He is second in command under ProudFire, the Wing Commander. His main job is to lead the First Wing in flights to patrol. His Wing flies up to about a week's Red Flight (or the distance a Red dragon can fly in a week) around his cave. Only one group, Third Wing, patrols any further from the cave. On his off days, WingsOfGoldenFire, likes to practice or play Dragon Rugby, a violent game involving a large leather ball, played by fierce teams of adult dragons. There are many different leagues around the globe, which contain a number of teams from caves close to one another. First Wing is not only WingsOfGoldenFire's hand-picked warrior, his team is also the best Dragon Rugby players of their League.
