White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As a pacifist, Mourning Maiden is an expert.

She was laid beside Arnljotr Alrekr, a hatchling and the only survivor of his clutch. She and he were to be mates, the first female and the first male in the budding clan, but before she could push herself from her shell, disaster struck.

When she finally hatched, she found her intended mate dead beside the remnants of her clutch-brothers. Filled with anguish she could not understand, she fell ill, becoming like a delicate and wilting rose. By mere chance another hatchling had joined her before she had hatched...a lonely Dark Green.

Under the care of this most uncharacteristic green, she grew in a delicate state, but none-the-less, she grew. Finally as an adult her pain has ebbed. But forever shall she remain in silent mourning for the love that she was intended to have, but denied by fate.

But perhaps, fate has a hidden ace up his sleeve.
