Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts winter weather.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Snow is a playful little girl that enjoys playing around in the snow, pushing and throwing the white stuff around until she collapses from exhaustion. Being born at the end of Winter, however, she watches her beloved toy melt more and more by the minute  trying to maintain the world she knew, she is storing great masses of snow deep under Soras cave, hoping to hide it from whomever might try to steal it from her. Miraculously, this even seems to work; it might have to do with her friend Winter, who took a liking to the little girl and preserves the snow with her magic.
