White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Qufquil cannot swim, despite her father having tried to teach her for years. Whenever she falls in the water she panics and creates a bubble of protective magic around herself that allows her to float on the surface. This instinct made her a disappointment to her parents, but saved her life on several occasions when, hypnotised by a xol, she wandered into scalding water. Her shield protected her from both the burning water and the xol, who eventually batted her away like a beach ball and let her go on her way.

One day, Qufquil got pulled in by a small pool with mana-infused waters raging so fiercely that, after an hour of beating, her mana shield ruptured. When she came to, completely soaked, an undine was standing over her, yelling at a water spirit, "Look what you've done!" The water spirit threw up her hands and left. Qufquil had never been more scared in her life, and promptly fell madly in love with her rescuer, Answergator.
