Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Breeze is an unusually deep blue Skywing.  He is very quiet and graceful, and he got his name from the fact that he's practically undetectable from above when he flies over deep water.  He's not shy, but he doesn't especially enjoy the company of others, preferring to keep to himself.  He was mocked for his ancestry when he was a hatchling, since he is the only Skywing with a pedigree which no other dragon in his keeper's cave has.  He still resents some of the dragons in his generation for it.  Despite his tendencies to hold grudges, he is a kind soul and often helps out those in need.  He values bravery, self-sacrifice, and kindness, although he has less of the former two than he'd like to admit.
