Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Attempt believes in True Love At First Sight, capital letters and all. He's known ever since growing his adult wings that he would meet his perfect match someday, a lovely lady dragon who would be his best friend and soulmate forever more. Most unfortunately, the dragon his parents initially chose for him, Mathematic, did not meet his curious requirements, no matter how nice they might have looked together on Whomever's lineage charts. Therefore, upon being introduced to her, he screamed and flew in the opposite direction, refusing to even try mating at all.

He ran away from the clan's caves and started traveling the world after that, vowing that he would not return until he had met the girl of his dreams. It remains to be seen how long the clan will put up with his emotional antics.
