When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Watersnoodramp lives in the sea, swimming and hunting in the shallow waters near the coast. Unfortunately for her, some funny land-dwelling creatures started building dykes. This way they kept the land behind the dykes dry, using them for agriculture, slowly but steadily extending their flat little land into the sea. More and more was nibbled off Watersnoodramp's territory. In a fit of rage, she swore to claim back her sea. During a great storm, she attacked the dykes, crashing her mighty body into them with every wave. The dykes gave way, sea washed into the low lands behind, and the humans had to climb to the roofs of their houses to escape the water. Many were washed away regardless, or drowned by a mad Waterdragon. Slowly but steadily the storm and the dragon's rage subsided.

Contrary to Watersnoodramp's expectations, they had not given up, and started building new dykes soon after the storm. How long it will be till the dykes give way again, no one knows.
