Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Most nights, Ghianak acts like a typical vampire. She'll feed on some unsuspecting dragon, cause a little mayhem, and perhaps even bite an egg if she's in the mood. Once a week, though, she'll vanish without a word to anyone about where she's going. If questioned, Ghianak claims she's seeking out more opportunities for havoc, as she'd rather not admit to her fellow vampires that she's taking zombie-slaying lessons from a vampire dragon several centuries younger than she is. It's bad enough that she's helping bring about good in the world, but she'd die of shame if anyone she knew ever found out. Even Ghianak herself isn't quite sure why she keeps on trying to rid the world of zombie dragon menaces, but her mentor believes it's Ghianak's deeply hidden better nature attempting to rise to the surface.
