Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tynscelle is a very interesting dragon.  He is a member of the Ornament Dragon Tribe, so no one could blame him for being festive during the Christmas season, but the problem is that he isn't festive during JUST the Christmas season.  Tynscelle refuses to believe that the Christmas season ever ends.  All year round, he celebrates Christmas.  It is not uncommon for the other dragons to wake up in the middle of summer only to find a fully decorated Christmas Tree in the middle of their cave.  Many dragons have attempted to explain to him that Christmas is not, in fact, a year round celebration, but he remains adamant in his beliefs.  He even starts screaming "LIES!!!!" When anyone tries to tell him Christmas is for December only.  He is a member of the Arts and Crafts Division, and is constantly making Christmas decorations.
