Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

E'shydel is quite old. She once lived in a cave with her siblings, when one day she was playing outside and scented the smell of an old, ill human, who seemed to be lost in the woods nearby. Normally, she was very careful, but curiosity drove her and so she went to find the human and cured his bad illness, because she could sense that he was a good one. But her smell was mixed with the human's and her mother didn't recognize her anymore. When she was forced to live between the coast and the forest, another human found her and took care of her. He probably saw that she was dying of hunger, so he fed her. The dragon and the human became friends, but she was still free and could live a normal life from then on in the woods.

E'shydel's personality is patient and calm. She always keeps a cool head and is optimistic about most things. Since she grew older, she became more careful and thinks about things before she does them.
