Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Cruel lover". His fellow Vampires shake their heads, calling him insane. His sick dream could never happen. It all started that fateful night, all the Night Raiders thought they were free from enslavement. That is, until the Vampires found themselves surrounded by unknown, monstrous dragons.

Then somehow, sitting in his dank cell for weeks, it dawned on Kali that he had feelings for that cruel Cavern Lurker. PangoMthama. That name was just enough to make Kali feel weak. The best part of being let out at night -for him- was that she was the guard. Kali would always return with a piece of meat from his hunting expedition and gives it to her, hoping that she accepts it. Much to his delight, Pango does. Oddly enough, Rnachllac doesn't seem to mind the thought of love, contrasting to MwakoNgozi's deep hatred of it. Kali has even been allowed out of the prison whenever he wants, usually finding himself outside Pango's lair waiting to go on their nightly walks together.
