Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Immortal Saint of the Rose, or Saint for short, is the great-grandchild of Sheen and Blaze. After hearing stories of her great-grandparents, she ventured out into the world to find the place of their birth. When she found the Immortal Lair, it didn't take long for her to find her place in the group. Saint is a kind, gentle dragoness. She is a gifted conversationalist, and is able to speak to even the shiest of the lair's residents. She is known for giving advice to all who seek it, be they human or dragon. Taking the love of stories she had as a hatchling, Saint can often be found surrounded by the lair's hatchlings, recounting the stories of her youth. She has always been fond of hatchlings, and many consider her to be like a second mother.

After turning away several suitors, Saint's heart was finally captured by the young red, Fayerave.
