Too Chicken for This Cave is, as her name implies, too chicken for life among dragons. She was once as bold and daring as her sister, Bernadene, but was scarred for life when her tail feathers were singed off by a hungry dragon. Ever since that unfortunate incident, she has been found cowering in the shadows of Meerkat's lair, avoiding contact with anything that moves. Even the sight of a minuscule ant scuttling along the kitchen floor is enough to send her into fits of terror. Meerkat has, on occasion, tried to coax her out of her hiding place in a genuine attempt to help her live a normal life, but Too Chicken for This Cave is unconvinced by her caretaker's actions; after all, her loving owner prefers chicken over any other type of meat. She finds solace in conversing with Fromage, the resident cheese dragon, but only because they share a firm belief that one day, they will be messily devoured.
