Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Trish Swiss was given to Ginderette after she helped Trish fulfill a very exacting request for an egg to trade for it. It took a lot of trial and error and learning a few things about the nature of dragons in the process, but it was well worth the prestige of having her first cheese dragon.
