Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Empty Embodiment claims to the other dragons she can see the dead. She can often be seen staring off into empty space with a look of horror on her face. No one is quite sure if she can really see the dead or if she is just crazy, but whatever causes her to see these apparitions, it is slowly draining her of all sense of emotion and being. Her eyes often are empty lusterless orbs and she rarely speaks or emotes any sense of feeling. One time she sought the help of Skyward Gazer, the only Magi dragon and strongest magic worker in the cave, but he only told her one sentence in reply. Only the dead can see the dead. Whatever the mysterious meaning of this sentence, Empty Embodiment continues to whither away, becoming nothing more then a dead empty shell of breathing flesh and blood.
