Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Curious Darkness is a favorite pet to his master. He is feisty and vicious and always looking out for something he can tear to pieces. But when the human walks in he quietly slinks toward her and is calm as she strokes his scales, often telling her about what he's been up to lately. It's a fine relationship for him; he gets free food and is scratched where he can't quite reach. It doesn't really bother him much that he's a pet since it's all he's ever known. However, he's heard that humans don't live very long and are extremely delicate, so he's always scouring the area to make sure there's nothing that will hurt his master. He doesn't know what he's going to do when she reaches the end of her life span and he'll be all alone.
