Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Seaside" in the Gaelic language, which is well suited for him because of his love of the coast.  Cois Farraige lives among the steep and rugged cliffs of the island's western coast.  The geology here is very much to his liking, as is the peaceful solitude of this sparsely-populated land.  When he isn't tutoring the younger dragons of the clan, he can occasionally be seen creating arches, pinnacles, and stacks along the surf-pounded beaches near his home.  This he does purely for his own amusement.
