White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Snowgriff is a bright young male with boundless enthusiasm. He is also a bit of a clown and likes to sneak up on the sleeping dragons and spook them with a loud hiss. He likes to follow Apara wherever she goes, much to her dismay. He was found as a hatchling nearly frozen to death during a snowstorm. His perseverance inspired his tamer to call him 'Snowgriff of the North', as a testament to him overcoming seemingly impossible odds during the harsh storm.
