Royal Crimson Dragons are so named due to their massive size and confident, regal bearing. Most of the time they are laid back, ignoring non-prey creatures smaller than themselves, although they will occasionally take fresh kills from other dragons as a reminder of their place in the social order. Although there are few other dragons large enough to pose a threat to Royal Crimsons, they have little tolerance for potential rivals and will fiercely defend their territory from such intruders.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Illium is seen a a proud, confident dragon. He's not condescending or cocky, merely assured of his own abilities, and will willingly take on any challenge. It has evolved to the point of all the dragons expecting him to be able to take on anything, do everything. They really were surprised when he finally broke down.

"I CAN'T!" Illium roared. Those simple words turned everyone's head. "I'm not a hero, you know! I can't do everything, be everywhere at once. I try, I'm always, always, always trying, but I'm not omnipotent. I'm NOT invincible, I'm not without my fears, I AM NOT PERFECT. I DO have my limits, no matter what your rose-colored view may suggest, and what you ask of me is WELL beyond them. Either figure out a way to do it YOURSELF, or ask someone else. I am incapable of helping you, and I'd appreciate it if you would acknowledge that rather than pester me with the same request, one that I have denied countless times."

The Crimson dragon broke off with a huff, and stormed away.
