Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Midnight Of Shining Stars is a young male black dragon, known as Midnight for short. He is the son of a Sweetling dragon, and a Black dragon, taking his mothers dragon type. He loves to spiral up to the stars when the moon is full and the stars are bright. He always seemed silent, dark, and strong, with no others like himself, he always feels like a loner, alone in the world. Only his Keeper seems to understand. He isn't the largest dragon, nor the quickest of his brethren, but he is the smartest. He is still the favored dragon of them all by his Keeper, for they share a close bond, he follows her everywhere, helping even to steal eggs for the other dragons to befriend. A dragon and human, yet the best friends.
