Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Pippin isn't the brightest of dragons. He's very glad to have a smarter friend, Winegolde, to help him make the weightier decisions, like where to spend the summer and where to find the best apples in the fall. If left to his own devices, he would likely just play with trees and rocks, knocking the former down and hurling the latter. Dionyn keeps a close eye on him when he visits his woodland. He doesn't want his good trees uprooted, but he does ask for him to pull up the sick ones since he knows he enjoys it.
