Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dowrne is a reclusive dragon, with no loyalties to any dragon groups or humans. Her only home that she ever knew was the entirety of the sky, and she never stays in one spot for very long.

Her wandering habits started in her youth. When she was learning to fly, she never stopped moving. She was born outside of a nest. She never met her parents and grew up without protection- fearful of every sound that came near her. She took refuge every night wherever her body could fit and allowed nothing to get her. Dowrne even went as far as to kick other animals out of their burrows and hollows, once she was strong enough. She remembers each victory with nostalgia, as the old residents of the home always became good supper.

Eventually, she grew stronger in might and magic and didn't need to temporarily steal homes from other animals to rest. Although she is slightly smaller than most of her kind, she is quick to run and use the weather to her advantage.
