Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Bright colors of red and green in patterns of swirls and stripes cover the hide of Boris the dragon.  Boris is never called by his true name; instead he is called "Santa's Dragon."  This nickname-turned-name came about one foggy Christmas Eve.  The weather was so cold it could freeze fire, making it very hard for Santa to fly with only eight tiny reindeer.  When a young dragon saw Santa's plight, he exclaimed "Oh Santa! Let me pull your sleigh!  Just this one night!"  The reindeer cheered, dancing with delight for no one really wanted to be out that frigid, cold night.  The new dragon who was colored just right, was to become the 'Spirit of Christmas' that year.  Now few see him, few even believe but read an ageless scroll of Dragons and you'll hear about Boris that amazing Christmas Eve.
