Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This female was born during a time of great sorrow. A group of rogue mages, wicked beings who had delved too deep into dark magic, sought to enslave all dragons for their own. Their sorcery was not powerful enough to achieve such an end, but it caused disaster all the same; countless eggs vanished from nests, yanked in towards the source of the mana blast, only to drop and fracture by the thousands halfway along the journey.
