Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling seems to be filled with a fell, inner flame.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Parq has always had a perfect rhythm, even when he was in his egg. He would constantly rock and bounce in perfect timing (even in his own tempo if he had to). As soon as he hatched, he would constantly tap on any flat surface he could find. This would include the unlucky dragon who decides to take a nap near him! Later, the local blacksmith had enough, so using strong metal and animal hides, he crafted 4 different percussion instruments: a small bongo, a tambourine, a medium sized tap drum, and a larger bass drum. Now he is content to play it at a tempo of 2 beats a second, and has combinations of beats that have 4 beats. For example, he plays the small bongos 3 beats and the medium tap drum for 1 beat while he walks, or the bass drum 2 beats and the tambourine 2 beats when he jumps high into the air. He also hasn't bothered too many dragons, except those with sensitive hearing.
