Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Melantha Murther is a very loud dragon. She speaks in this weird accent that nobody can place, and it makes her sound like a robot, complete with all those grinds and clicks and everything. But when she wants to (and she always wants to), she'll easily slip out of it to become simply a very loud dragon.

She's in a love-hate relationship with Corin Deeth III, who is one of the biggest jerks in all of dragonkind. Well, most of the time it's hate. Deeth hates her too. A lot of dragons really hate her.

But whenever they start getting annoyed at her, she'll just laugh this really loud laugh that basically shuts up everybody around her except for Deeth. Deeth will just keep talking louder and louder over her, until somebody breaks them up.

She's not that bad of a dragon, actually. She might be loud and sassy and pretty rude, but at least she's not as much of a jerk as Deeth.

Yeah, nobody could be as much of a jerk as Deeth.
