Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As a young hatchling Zowee witnessed when another young Stripe hatchling was brought to the clan. The young male was very odd, didn't respond to telepathy and had the strangest mannerisms. A lot of the other hatchlings made fun of the new arrival although the adult dragons and their human caretaker repeatedly pointed out that the young one needed their friendship.

But Zowee was fascinated by the other hatchling, her curiousity peaked. She helped him developing his communication skills almost never lost her patience with his odd speech patterns and listen closely to all his explanations for his weird behaviour. She still doesn't get why females should be considered less strong or intelligent than males in general, why one should drink hot beverages first thing in the morning and hide behind pieces of paper while doing so or why romantic monogamy between a male and a female was considered "better" than other forms of attachment, but she is fascinated by Savage's attempts to explain.
