Well, the chick grew up into a chicken, but you’re still not sure how the egg got into that cave...

Secretly Cluckelina thinks she is just an ordinary, earthly chicken, destined to lay eggs every day and to become a bowl of hot chicken soup with vermicelli at the end of her productive life. However, the other chickens in her coop believe they come from a planet inhabited solely by chickens, and that they were send in spaceships disguised as eggs to conquer planet Earth. Every day the Space Chickens flock together, discussing plans to escape the coop and commit a coup. Cluckelina thinks they're all nutters, but unfortunately this has the nasty side effect that she's cast to the bottom of the pecking order. Now the Space Chickens use her for target practice. This poor chicken either flutters around the coop trying to escape their sharp beaks, or tries to hide in a quiet corner, more often than not to no avail.

Poor Cluckelina hopes her destiny as a bowl of hot chicken soup with vermicelli is fulfilled soon, as she deems that infinitely preferable to her current misery.
