Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The young silver hatchling lay helpless on the dirt, particles of the tan substance clinging to her scales and staining her beautiful color. She was panting hard now, unable to move. Then, a shape swooped down from the skies. It was another one of EquusWolfusDracon's dragons, Coridlev. He had seen her from above and thought the silver hatchling might be a mirror or something shiny he could add to his (overly shiny) cave. Instead, he found a helpless hatchling. Taking pity on her, he took her in and she grew up with Coridlev, to whom she is eternally grateful to and refuses to leave his company. She was named Greentwine, and has taken on more than a few of Coridlev's traits, twisting them to her favor- she is all for being pretty, and constantly looks in her reflective wings, checking her face. She also tends to go about acting like a sissy, loving the attention.
