Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Whiplash Rapido belies his name. He is lazy and conceited, and likes to lead the females in the cave astray. Because he is caveborn, some find him attractive, and his blue stripes and matching eyes are very effective in the seduction process. But quite often he gives up before he manages even to make a friend, as he is so lazy, it all seems like too much effort.

He's very slim, as he is also too lazy to hunt much, so when he does, he picks on the most nourishing prey he can see, so that he only needs to bother with it once a day. He does eat plenty of fruit, as that requires minimal effort. He would eat more vegetables but—well, he just doesn't like them.
