Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Garal is very much an acquired taste. Most don't take the time to see anything more than a powerful dragon with a tendency to be a bit of a bully, except perhaps to make note of his warped sense of humor, and yet there's more to him than that. One mocks Garal at one's own peril, as he has his breed's control over rocks and earth, but for those few who earn his respect, he's a friend for life (if an occasionally uncertain ally).
