Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon has a dark, twisted heart, morphed by pain and heartbreak. Before the three clans, Ulmer, Konan, and Embryss, all dragons lived in one. This clan was referred to as the Beginning Clan. Her parents gave birth to a healthy clutch of dragons and raised them happily within the clan. One day, however, the family was out in the territory exploring, when an outsider showed up and brutally murdered her parents and sibling. Afraid, she scurried back to the clan. There, the leaders took her in as their own, bringing her up alongside their son, Nailian. In this time, Sroasha had begun to feel an affection for this young dragon grow inside her. Time passed, and eventually it was time for the throne to be passed on. The two's father chose Nailian, much to Sroasha's dismay, to lead. However, this did not bother her much, seeing as the new Alpha would surely choose a mate. That time did come, and he chose a mate, but she was not Sroasha. This she-drake was a fine Whiptail dragon.
